Started in Rochester, New York, USA in January 1967 by Korean War Veteran
(US Air Force 1952-1960) Wallace A. Krapf, Jr., (Wally) a creative problem-solving marketing specialist and inventor in business systems design, Magnatag® Visible Systems has quietly grown to become a nationally recognized source and authority in visible control board systems for design, functionality, quality, service, durability and reliability. Mr. Krapf, our founder, although concentrating his efforts on creative product and market development, still oversees the company through the able daily management of his large family, dedicated managers and skilled employees. He says he's having too much fun to retire!

We are the originators of these systems, not the imitators. Since 1967 we have been working directly with managers, engineers, schedulers and planners by catalog, telephone and now through this website, to design, develop and build systems tailored to each client's specific needs. With the advice and guidance of our client-users, we have created thousands of systems for just about every application imaginable. We keep records on all of them, a data base we have maintained since before the term was invented.

Each Magnatag® white board is heat-fused printed for a specific application into our unique MagnaLux® porcelain-like, dry-erase write-on white magnetic steel working surface. It is designed to stay like new, clean, stain-free, durable and reliable for a lifetime of daily use. It is not a fragile film or plastic laminate as frequently offered by imitators. There are no taped-on lines or decals either. We carefully select the magnets and charting supplies for each kit to be exactly the right size, scale, colors and quantity for the board design so you get everything you need to operate it immediately. We have designed it however to be totally flexible so you can easily add to and modify the system as your operation evolves.
