GrandPlanners® 365-Day and 730-Day Timeline Magnetic Dry-Erase Whiteboard Project Planning Systems

You can think, write and talk about your grand plan, but until you put on the wall for all to see, you may be the only one "seeing" it. 1 and 2 year daily timelines.

After many years of trying to create a way of magnetically posting and viewing a full 365-day line-item schedule without using an excessively wide board, we developed this GrandPlanner® system design. The answer was to condense the horizontal grid scale to fit a standard width project board and then also print the same grid on the write-on plastic-laminated magnet strips so they would register with the board grid and could be scissor-cut to show the task day-length by counting the day grid spaces on the magnet. Our clients tell us this Magnatag® GrandPlanner® is one of the most effective project display board system they have ever used. It communicates - it works - it has everything! Try it and see!

Scissor-cut the grid-printed write-on magnetic strip to show the task day length.

1- day line spaces are printed on the magnet strip to register with the board grid. Count the number of day spaces on the magnet to show the task length, scissor cut to exact scale and display it on the board grid.

To update once a year, just reposition the printed month / date magnets. They register with the board grid and a full month is printed on each magnet (set of 12). Tape bold lines between months.

Magnet colors (10) can code action type. You can write on the magnet strip. Use magnet cardholders too.

By using a highly compressed horizontal grid scale, the entire year fits within a standard board width, allowing users to see both the big-picture overview ("the forest") and detailed daily information ("the trees") without requiring an impractically wide display.
How do I display task durations or multi-day activities?
Use the color-coded magnetic card holders to list and group topics/items. Post tasks using grid-printed 12" magnet strips (10 colors, scissor-cut to length) and individual circle magnets (10 colors), or write directly on the board.
Can I color-code tasks and statuses?
Yes. Use the color-coded magnets to list and group topics and tasks by color and visually communicate your plans! You can easily move magnetic cardholders, status signals, and date magnets to change plans instantly without rewriting everything. This makes them ideal for dynamic schedules where things shift often.
What's included with the kit?
Magnatag's GrandPlanner board system comes with everything needed to operate it. Organize tasks or projects using magnetic cardholders (5 colors) and printable paper card inserts (10 colors, card printing template included). Magnet signals (10 colors) and scissor-cut grid-printed write-on strips (5 colors) show activity dates. How do I update the timeline for a new year?
This is a perpetual calendar. Days of the week are printed on the board. As the year ends, simply reposition the printed month/date magnets to align with the grid for the new year.
What sizes and day scales are available?
366-day boards come in 2' x 3', 4' x 3', and 4' x 6'; 730-day boards are available in 4' x 6' and 4' x 12', with 1/6" or 1/3" day column scales.

How do I hang my new board?
Your BoldLyne® framed Magnatag® board comes with two hanging options: Patented Safety Hooks and FrameKlamp™ SlideChannel™ wall hangers. You can view an installation video of the two options or download the instructions for either by clicking these links: Safety Hook Installation or FrameKlamp™ Installation. Fastener hardware is not included. Please make sure the fasteners you use are appropriate for your wall.
What are the exact dimensions and weights of the boards?

What kind of pens should I use on my board?
