View all trainees and their status vs. courses and topics offered. Magnet colors let you show courses completed, in progress, scheduled, repeated, etc. and the 5 magnetic cardholder and 10 card insert colors can code the trainee's position, level, etc. Write on the dry-erase whiteboard, too. To prevent posting errors, each trainee's row is numbered and the number could also be used to code trainee's identification.
Nobody wants to be the only one with a red dot... I'm very happy with the board. We keep it on display in our conference room, so everyone can always see where they're qualified. It gets the most attention during our monthly meetings when we review where everyone is at. Once you've completed all of your requirements for that month, you get a green magnet. If you're behind schedule, or don't meet standards for that month, you get a red magnet. Nobody wants to be the only one with a red dot! Everytime we put one up there, it is amazing to see how quickly they work to get it off.
