With these optional LongMagnets™ you can prepare the information at your desk, then place it on the board and reposition each line quickly to accommodate priority needs. The colors can signify the type of operation or your code, and when the procedure is completed, you can just turn the LongMagnet™ over (exposing the white side) write the patient's name and other significant post-op information on it and leave it on the board to show instantly which procedures are competed, underway and still to do.
The board allows us to have all the information we need and only the information we need about a patient and the surgical team, posted where we can all see it, so decisions about the schedule can be made as the day unfolds. We can drop in emergencies and prioritize. The whole staging process is much more efficient when everyone can see what is going on and no resources are wasted.
